Kids and Coozies

Kids and coozies seem like an odd couple but I’m going to try and change that. These days hundreds of thousands if not millions of young kids can benefit from coozies being in their daily lives.

So you got that glass bottle for you child to keep you little one safe from leaching chemicals. Now you have a new problem – arming your toddler with a glass object with potential to become a projectile at any moment. Speaking from experience, it is pretty much inevitable that the glass bottle will break. I was fortunate enough to be near my son when it happened every time, so I avoided having to deal with any injuries in addition to cleaning up the mess. After several close calls, I nearly gave up on glass bottles altogether, but one last time I reluctantly dished out another $30 for a 3-pack of Born Free glass bottles while I searched for an alternative.

That is when the trusty coozy inspired me once again! One day it occurred to me to try and slip my can coozy onto that glass bottle. It fit (not well), but it worked. Plus there was something very wrong about a two-year-old walking around with Miller Light proudly displayed on his bottle of milk. That day I resolved to design and make the perfect baby bottle cover. I have not handed my child a ‘naked’ bottle since and I have never had to buy another bottle! That same day I ordered my initial supplies and got to work on the baby bottle coozy. To date my little project has evolved from an awkward early prototype into the beautifully designed and constructed Cocoozy Baby Bottle Cover. ( Check it out at cocoozy.com! ) I really feel that this item is one you will find infinitely useful, just as I do. There is nothing like it available right now, but very simply it would provide a peace of mind for so many families using glass baby bottles.
