Trying Out New Products on Etsy

One of our top priorities has always been product research and development. We are always trying to find ways to improve and to be inspired with fresh new ideas. I've been a fan of Etsy for a while, but I have just recently rediscovered as a useful market research tool! It helps tremendously to get feedback from as many people as possible about any and all products, what prints people like or dislike, what features they enjoy, etc. I have recently updated my Etsy store with brand new products and am DYING to hear what everyone has to say about them! Work in Progress

I know I have not been posting on the blog within the last couple of months, but chances are you’ve seen something Cocoozy related in your internet prowls! Whether it’s our ad or someone talking about our products, Cocoozy is no longer an obscure word!

Let me tell you, these last few months have flown by! And there is still so much to do!!

Here’s a brief recap of our latest accomplishments:
a) Business has been picking up on cocoozy.com and we are doing our best to stay on top of the orders. We also recently made shipments to more fine baby boutiques.
b) The Cocoozy products we have submitted to consumer product review sites and have gotten pretty great responses! The same goes for our testimonials and we are ecstatic! It is truly the motivation we need to press on during the wee hours.
c) We have launched our new Amazon.com store
d) We have launched a Glass Bottle Campaign in our regional hospitals’ Parenting Classes to help parents-to-be make better choices in baby products and to expose some hidden dangers and provide simple safety solutions. We are really proud of this one!
e) An article I wrote on the glass bottle safety issue was published a great new magazine called Modern Handmade Child (Pg. 62-63)– what an honor!
f) We have been working tirelessly on our new product line coming out this fall! We cannot wait to show off the fresh new prints both you and you kids will LOVE!

As if the American Baby magazine news was not enough, this week we have more great news – you can now find Cocoozy products at another amazing boutique - Imagine Gifts at 5 Miller Street in Warren, RI! We have just delivered an assortment of singles and gift sets to be displayed on their first level. Cocoozies in American Baby Magazine

If I were a teenage girl I would so text OMG to all my BFFs right now!!! But since I’m not, I will instead calmly inform everyone of an important new development in Cocoozy history – Cocoozy products will appear in American Baby magazine in June 2009! Yes, that’s right we took the plunge and went for a really great magazine too! American Baby gets incredible distribution; the June issue will be sent out to 550,000 subscribers nationwide!!!

I am really excited because I love and read this magazine routinely. I have found some of the most useful information and advice on the subjects of pregnancy and everything to do with baby. Cocoozy Baby Bottle Covers will be appropriately showcased on the Best Baby Summer Picks page. With all my heart I believe Cocoozies are one of the best baby accessories, especially in the summer when activity picks up. As the weather improves, little tots will be heading outside to play with their bottles by their side.
